Project Overview

At ISISPACE I was responsible for the system assembly, integration and testing (AIT) for CubeSatellites for almost 2 years. At a high level, I was tasked with ensuring that system requirements were verified. This involved planning the AIT phase, preparing AIV/AIT documentation and procedures, coordinating the payload integration process, maintaining the VCD, design and procurement of GSE, and procurement of satellite harnessing. The work also included extensive day-to-day logistics, problem solving, giving input on NRBs, and performing investigations.

I joined this mission just before CDR, so I was heavily involved from the early phases of procurement and late design changes. I was tasked early on with managing the harness design and procurement, and was in constant contact with the harness supplier to ensure we received the required parts. I was also involved in weekly meetings with procurement, effectively acting as project coordinator, to track flight hardware and GSE to be procured. I planned, procedurised, managed and conducted the: initial electrical testing and mechanical integration activities; EMC campaign; and EVT campaign. I supported the development of the E2E testing.
